This privacy policy describes how Evolution Creek Software handles information across our website (evocreeksw.com) and our games. We take your privacy seriously and aim to be transparent about what data is collected and why.

Information You Provide

Any information you provide on our contact form will only be used to respond to you and will not be shared on our site.

Data and Analytics

We assign a unique identifier to each player for our games on Roku, iOS, Android, and Steam, but do not use or retain any personally identifying information other than the initials you may enter for high score list purposes. We use this identifier to help maintain high score lists.

We also use this identifier with Google Analytics to track game usage for the purpose of tracking the health and usage of our games.

When you play our games on Steam, Valve may also collect data about your gameplay through the Steam platform. See the Steam Privacy Policy.

Accounts

You may optionally create an account using your email address. Accounts are used to save web game data and level progress across our mobile games. Your email address is used only for login purposes and will not be used for marketing or shared with third parties. Account creation is entirely voluntary — all of our games can be used without an account. Accounts are only used for our web games and the Ants mobile game. You can delete your account and associated data directly from the Account Info page on our website, or from within the Ants mobile game. Information We Do Not Otherwise Collect

Other than the contact form and accounts described above, we do not directly collect, store, or process any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name or physical address.

Third-Party Services

Our website and games use several third-party services that may collect data on our behalf:

• Google Analytics – Used to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, time spent, general location, device type), and to track the health and usage of our games. This data is aggregated and anonymous. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google AdSense – Used to display advertisements on this website. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other sites. See Google's Advertising Policies.
• Roku – Used to display advertisements in our free games on Roku. See Roku's Privacy Policy.
• Google AdMob – Used to display advertisements in our free games on iOS and Android. AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android), IP address, and usage data to serve ads. On iOS, you may be asked for permission to track you across apps via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt; you can decline and ads will still be shown. • Google Fonts – Fonts are loaded from Google's servers, which may log your IP address. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Cookies

This site does not set its own cookies except for account login sessions. Third-party services (Google Analytics, AdSense) may also set cookies in your browser. You can control cookies through your browser settings or opt out of Google advertising cookies at adssettings.google.com. Note that Google AdMob in our mobile games uses mobile advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android) rather than browser cookies; these can be reset or opted out of in your device settings.

Data Retention

Player identifiers and high score initials collected through our games are retained for as long as the game is active. Google Analytics retains user-level data for 2 months by default; see Google's data retention settings for details. Other third-party services listed above retain data according to their own privacy policies.

Children's Privacy

Our website and games are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect when the most recent changes were made.
